Book The Cinema leverages Unique X’s suite of cinema automation and content delivery solutions and is a brand new platform offering consumers a personalised private cinema screening experience for birthday parties and other special occasions.
Launching nationally across the UK with ODEON Cinemas Group, Europe’s largest cinema operator and an AMC Entertainment company, Book The Cinema offers consumers the opportunity to book a private screening at their favourite cinema, along with food and beverages, directly through a user-friendly and intuitive website. Additionally, users can upload their own photographs and videos to create personalised messages to their guests to be shown on the cinema screen before the start of the movie. Unique X and ODEON have worked closely with film distributors and content owners in order to offer the latest releases and an unprecedented range of hundreds of library titles through the platform. On selecting a movie, consumers will receive immediate confirmation of their successful booking.
Book The Cinema is now available for all exhibitors across the UK and Ireland to sign up to. This new fully managed service from Unique X gives exhibitors an opportunity to drive new revenue and increase screen yield by capturing a new audience interested in a premium and private cinema experience.
