With Halloween just around the corner, Unique X would like to share our latest updates on RosettaPOS and how it will help with managing the halloween crowd. RosettaPOS is a point of sale system used in cinemas to manage ticketing, concessions, seating and much more. Our updated social distancing functionality in RosettaPOS enables exhibitors to choose how many seats they would like vacant between customers, which can be adjusted by screen. This gives exhibitors the flexibility to easily implement government guidelines and ensure social distancing is implemented smoothly for both the customer and exhibitor.
Cinemas using RosettaPOS also now have the ability to set a maximum capacity on a screen-by-screen basis and even individually on shows, ensuring they can always avoid exceeding any legal restrictions on how many people can be in their cinema at any one time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As tickets are delivered to customers electronically, tickets can be shown to cinema staff on mobile phones and scanned at the cinema using dedicated barcode scanning devices or even on adapted mobile phones running the RosettaPOS software, making going to the cinema a more seamless and contactless experience.
Our goal with the latest developments to RosettaPOS is to help exhibitors during these uncertain times and make the cinema experience as seamless and convenient for the end customer as we can. It’s also important to Unique X that cinemas have the ability to comply with the diverse mix of local restrictions designed to control the spread of Covid-19 that have been implemented across the territories that RosettaPOS operates in.
