Unique X, the global leader in cinema technology solutions, today announced the completion of a full product suite deployment to Cinépolis — the world’s third-largest cinema exhibitor — spanning 6,837 screens across 889 theatres in 18 countries. The deployment, which covered RosettaBridge TMS, RosettaNet Circuit Management System, Basekey, Smart Trailering, and Advertising Accord, was completed in eight weeks from contract signature to full operational go-live, with zero downtime across the 1.5 million shows Cinépolis presented to its customers during the transition period.
The migration, which replaced the Arts Alliance Media Screenwriter TMS across the entire Cinépolis global estate, was executed using Unique X’s proprietary automated deployment tooling — a pre-configuration methodology that ensures every RosettaBridge TMS installation arrives at a cinema fully operational, requiring no site setup by Unique X or Cinépolis engineers. Equipment settings, user accounts, macros, smart programs, and pre-show playlists are all in place from the moment the system comes online.
“6,837 screens across eighteen countries, running on the Unique X product suite 8 weeks after signing the contract – incredible! With RosettaBridge TMS and RosettaNet CMS Cinépolis has the operational automation, consistency and control that a circuit of our scale requires. By using their automated TMS deployment tools and team of experienced cinema solution engineers, Unique X delivered the project in eight weeks, with our cinema operations running continuously throughout.”
— Gabriel Morales Becker, Global IT Director, Cinépolis
The deployment spanned Latin America,US, India, Spain and the Middle East, with Unique X deploying a territory-specific pilot site and quality assurance process in each of the 18 territories before full circuit rollout. A comprehensive train-the-trainer programme, supported by multilingual training video libraries and the Unique X Product Knowledge Base, ensured more than 600 Cinépolis users were operational from day one.
The inclusion of Advertising Accord marks a significant expansion of Cinépolis’s advertising capabilities. Pre-show integration across all Cinépolis territories is now enhanced, with campaign scheduling, delivery, verification, and inventory management handled end-to-end by the platform. The deployment positions Cinépolis as programmatic-ready — primed for an advertising ecosystem increasingly driven by data and automation.
“This is a game-changer for the perception that migrating TMS vendor is disruptive. The Cinépolis deployment reflects the depth of capability across the Unique X team — product, project management, installations, training and network operations all working in close coordination with Cinépolis’s own team. Eight weeks across 18 countries, the full product suite deployed, and operations running continuously throughout. I’m proud of what everyone on both sides delivered.”
— Phil Morris, Chief Commercial Officer, Unique X
Unique X have now invited Cinépolis to participate in the consultation process for the design and requirements RosettaBridge V6 — Unique X’s AI driven next-generation TMS platform, scheduled for launch in late 2026.
The Cinépolis deployment follows Unique X’s existing partnership with the circuit on MovieTransit content delivery, which served as the foundation of a broader relationship that now encompasses the full Unique X product suite.
