BioRex cinemas in Finland are the latest cinema circuit to deploy Unique X’s cinema advertising platform, Advertising Accord, for its media sales business.
With 12 cinemas and 53 screens, BioRex is Finland’s second-largest exhibitor and established its own cinema advertising sales division in the autumn of 2024, immediately moving to adopt Advertising Accord. BioRex is an existing customer of Unique X’s RosettaBridge TMS and Movie Transit content delivery network, and will therefore benefit from the seamless and automated operation.
To support this endeavor, BioRex launched Rex Media, a dedicated advertising sales company under its ownership by Svenska Bio. Rex Media is led by two experienced partners, Miika Hupli and Jukka Pelkonen, who bring extensive expertise to the venture. The team pays extra attention to make advertising in cinemas accessible for all advertisers. The company’s newly created campaign booking system and a hasslefree mastering service along with Advertising Accord are great tools for both Bio Rex, as well as independent cinemas across Finland.
BioRex can further take advantage of Advertising Accord’s programmatic advertising functionality, maximising the automated workflow to increase screen advertising yield to further secure long-term cinema advertising revenues.
Advertising Accord delivers over 1.1 billion advertising spots annually across 31 territories and 45,000 screens worldwide. It is the only solution to provide a fully automated workflow for the cinema channel to include sales, scheduling, delivery, proof of play and financial management for both cinema direct sales and programmatic advertising.
