OUR STORY
Unique X was founded in Bergen, Norway in 1997 by Chris Hagan with the sole ambition to make innovative software solutions for cinema. Our first products were advertising and trailering scheduling tools for cinema. We have stayed true to that singular vision ever since, creating the most complete portfolio of solutions in the theatrical movie industry for exhibition, distribution and cinema advertising.
Unique X now has over 100 staff across four offices in Dublin, Manchester, Bergen and Vilnius. As our portfolio has grown so has our client base, Unique X operates in 100 countries across the globe and excels in delivering mission-critical cinema software. Every year Unique X delivers over 200,000 movies and 1.1 billion cinema advertising spots worldwide while providing operation critical software to over 40,000 cinema screens worldwide.
