Dublin, Ireland — June 21st, 2023 — World-leading cinema software and content delivery company Unique X and post-production leader PHAROS are excited to announce a software licensing agreement to deploy a fully managed electronic network across Germany.
PHAROS, who recently announced their new CineBridge managed content delivery platform, will be utilising Unique’s market leading MovieTransit software and technology in order to provide electronic delivery services to its wide range of major studio and German distributor customers.
Unique X operates in 90 countries across the globe and excels in delivering mission-critical cinema software to over 45,000 screens WW. MovieTransit is in operation across 19 territories in Europe, Africa & the Americas with the most advanced and capable theatrical DCP electronic delivery technology in the world servicing all major Hollywood studios and distributors and will now be available for distributors and exhibitors to enjoy in Germany, one of the largest theatrical markets with over 1,600 cinemas and over 8,000 screens.
With in-territory investment and operation lead by Pharos, and with Unique X in support, deployments are scheduled to start immediately with the full territory targeted for connection to the CineBridge network Powered by MovieTransit over the next 18 months.
